About

Hi, my name is Anh. I’m a small-business owner and vendor from Milwaukee, WI. I’m vending at Arts & Crafts Fairs, Festivals, Farmer Markets, County Fairs, State Fairs, from the smallest show to the most expensive shows, you name it. The reason I’m creating this website is to share it with other vendors and friends I’ve met, who have also shared with me about other great events to try. I only added events with strong track records, run by a good organizer who genuinely wants to promote artists, makers, small businesses, and to connect businesses and customers.

Disclaimer: Not all events on this website work for everyone. There are many factors, including venue location, seasons, weather, demographics, and whether the products you are selling resonate with local audiences. I’ve tried many new events all over the Midwest. Every year, I try a few new events and keep the good ones to ensure the business can sustain and grow.

What is 8020FIT?

The 80/20 rule, or the Pareto principle, originated with Italian economist Vilfredo Pareto in 1896, who observed that 80% of Italy’s land was owned by 20% of the population. He later noted a similar distribution in his garden, where 20% of pea pods produced 80% of the peas. This “vital few” concept was later popularized across manufacturing, fitness, business operations, and more.

FIT stands for Find, Inform, Thrive. The goal of this website is to help you find balance in event planning, finding 20% of good events that can produce 80% profit.
